***FRIENDLY”, HEADBUTTING YOUNG TIGER BOY SURRENDERED DUE TO “COST”!!! PLEASE SAVE HOPE!!!*** Yes, you read that correctly…HOPE is a BOY stuck with a girl’s name! This perfectly stunning 3-year-old brindle tiger & white lovebug was sadly surrendered to the uncaring ACC by his former owners due to his COST. Hope is a charming fellow who is “friendly” with both kids & strangers; he’s also s a well-mannered young lad who “always” uses his litter box. But Hope had the misfortune to catch the ACC cat cold, & we all know the heartless ACC prefers to KILL rather than CURE. So poor Hope has a spot on tomorrow’s kill list. Don’t let this darling boy die for a cold which THEY gave to him! Even at the scary ACC, Hope offered gentle, trusting headbutts & rubs. If he’s this affectionate in the ACC, just IMAGINE how wonderful he’ll be in a loving forever home of his very own! Please start RIGHT NOW to apply to foster or adopt adorable HOPE from the approved rescue groups! If you can’t save HOPE yourself, please SHARE his sad story & PLEDGE for his rescue!.

My name is HOPE. My Animal ID # is A0966745.
I am a male br tiger and white domestic sh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 3 YEARS old.

I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 05/29/2013 from NY 11203, owner surrender reason stated was COST.

For more information on adopting please read the following:https://www.facebook.com/PetsOnDeathRow/app_396393053713168?f&ref=ts

DO NOT call the shelter and say you are adopting unless you truly intend on physically going to the shelter to adopt the cat. It ties up phones lines and is a waste of the staff’s time to explain the adoption procedure over the phone for someone who is purposely not going to show up. They need every free second of their time to answer calls, assist actual adopters, process intakes, and care for the animals. More importantly, they will note the cats’s file that an adopter is en route which will prevent an actual adopter from saving the cat. This is considered a “fake adoption” hold and that is how animals fall through the cracks and end up being killed.

For more information on a particular cat, email adoption@nycacc.org but ONLY if serious about adopting, and ONLY if you are able to GO TO the shelter in-person. Please do not email for status updates… the only thing you will accomplish is spamming their in boxes and causing REAL adopter emails to go un-noticed. Contact the NYC ACC at (212) 788-4000 for further automated instructions.
